SmithGroupJJR

SmithGroupJJR is a renowned architecture firm, with locations all over the U.S. and globally. I was approached by their marketing team to help craft pieces of content marketing for the Workplace Design wing of the firm. With my background in writing about architecture and business, it’s a treat every time I get on the phone with the folks at SmithGroupJJR! Specifically, I’ve ghosted articles for them for Building Operating Management, a trade magazine. I’ve also written marketing thought leadership pieces, such as recapping highlights of workplace design roundtable discussions. My work with SmithGroupJJR involves careful interviewing and listening, so that I can help the practice leaders find the story. Then, it’s a matter of shaping the ideas and bringing voice and clarity to the story, so that it resonates with the target audience and further builds SmithGroupJJR’s brand.

Here are links to two pieces I wrote for them:

“My team and I met Judi at the recommendation of our corporate marketing team. She was suggested as a writer who could help us connect with our commercial real estate clients and their end-users effectively. This is a very competitive business, and our ability to tell stories that help any reader find insight into our design philosophies and strategic thinking is a major differentiator. Judi does that extremely well. She has an uncanny ability to sense the flavor of what we’re trying to convey (we’re visual people, so words and stories don’t always come easy!) in a way that creates the correct narrative image we want our readers to see. Judi’s work is timely, accurate, and has an accessible tone to it. It’s the right blend of technical, emotional, and intent. She makes us look good!”
